The Krakow duo brings postfolk ruins back to life, sets fresh directions and throws them on the loops, with the Slavic spice, colliding styles of Tom Waits and Junip. The result is a intertextual carousel of melancholy.

Karrot Kommando has been releasing records and organising concerts since 2005, in the first decade of the 21st century, dealing with, among others, some of the most popular Polish reggae and dub performers, such as Eastwest Rockers or Vavamuffin. Karrot also has a lot of folk under its belt – including Żywiołak, or Kapela ze Wsi Warszawa. It is undoubtedly one of the most influential Polish independent concert and publishing agencies.
